Looking at the album's arresting artwork whilst listening to these seven tracks sullen rumbling quality makes me imagine recent abstract paintings, often harshly though not unjustifiably labelled "zombie formalism", seeping from their canvases and slithering away from the gallery walls to begin their new lives as bewildered and unhappy screaming multicoloured monsters.
Favorite track: Nesting.

This album is a wild and thrashing black metal beast. Less round, catchy and refined than 2019's masterpiece follow-up Algleymi, but why should I restrict myself to only one album of excellent Misþyrming? FlashMuc
Tchornobog is without a doubt one of the best records of the decade.
It goes beyond the outdated concept of ''genres'' to create something very much of its own. To think this is the most honest artistic expression of ONE single person is even more impressive.
It's one long journey, but a very worthwhile one. The songs all mesh perfectly into one relentless masterpiece that traps you in its atmosphere, without escape.
Despair, decay... and all the good shit. activa44
